2001-2002	Wrote articles on my travels in search of unique fabrics for Nihon Sen-i Shinbun, a daily fashion-business newspaper.Created and promoted a new concept or Japanese designs by combining both Japanese traditional kimono fabrics and patterns with fabrics and materials from all ever the world.
2001	Participated in “the Exhibition of Cotton from Japan and Around the World” in Fukuoka, Japan.
1997	Opened “Padi,” an interior-design shop in Ubud, Bali, Imdonesia. The shop offers variety or interior goods that are inspired by natural materials in Indonesia. Traveled extensively in Africa, India, and Southeast Asia in search of fabric patterns inspired by local folk culture.

1994	Founded Umbo, a division of Kinoshita Co., Ltd., which specializes in art for the home interior.
1993	Graduated from Osaka Mode Gakuen (Fashion Institute), the Department of Interior Design. Won the Osaka Mode Gakuen Grand Prix for graduate project excellence. Traveled extensively throughout Europe, America, and Southeast Asia.
